ELECTORONICS FERRULES

Ferrules are used together with the connector that connects the optical fiber cables. To keep the fibers accurately aligned within the connector, ferrules are needed to be processed with accuracy of submicron unit. Kyoritsu have developed ultra-precise processing technologies capable of achieving perfectly round shape within diameters deviation of ±0.1 μm (0.0001mm) and tolerances of up to 0.2μm.

ELECTORONICS CONTACT PROBES

Contact probes are used to test semiconductors, printed circuit boards and wire harnesses. Its ordinarily consist of a spring, a plunger and a barrel. Kyoritsu’s micro fine wires are the best for the springs of contact probes because the pitches of electrodes become narrower as electric devices become smaller.
